Online Learning Resources

During our closure due to the ongoing health crisis, the Art Center is working on ways to bring art to you at home, virtually, and that includes art education. This page will act as an index for this effort. Below, you’ll see all the online learning tools we’re offering during the shutdown, including virtual mentorships, online classes, and free video instruction for art projects you can do with your children. This list will be updated when additional resources are added.

Online Art Classes
Announcing more online art classes from the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey starting the week of May 11th! After a successful pilot of online classes, we’re offering even more options for kids, teens, and adults. Many of your favorite teaching artists are making the online transition. Most virtual classes will be five weeks long and we’ve also added single-session online workshops for adults based on student requests. There are new pre-recorded video lessons available on-demand so you can create art anytime.
