Group Tours

The Art Center offers museum education tours for students of all ages. Each tour is led by one of our professional teaching artists and includes a docent-led tour of our current exhibitions where participants are encouraged to view, learn, and share their ideas about the art on view. Following the tour is an option for an hour-long, hands-on art workshop that relates to the themes in the exhibition led by a teaching artist. All tours address National Core Arts Standards.

Tours can be scheduled Monday—Friday, 9 AM—7 PM. A tour lasts approximately one hour and a tour plus an art-making activity is approximately two hours in length. Art projects include a variety of media such as paint, pastel, collage, found objects, or watercolor, depending on the current exhibition.
