STUDIO SCHOOL
Studio School Policies
We are so pleased you are interested in taking a class at The Art Center! You can register online, in person or by phone. The policies listed below will be helpful in answering any questions you have about registration and logistics. Any additional questions can be directed to info@artcenternj.org.
Each class must be paid in full at the time of registration. Pro-rating is not available. A $25 fee will be assessed for any returned check.
Students who provide an email address at time of registration will receive an automated receipt and confirmation via email; students who do not provide an email address will not receive confirmation. Students should assume a class is running unless otherwise notified (approximately five days before start date). The Art Center calls students only in the event of a class cancellation.
There is no late registration fee, but you will be charged the full price of the course. Prorating is not available. You may not join a class past its second week.
Students who withdraw from a class or workshop will receive a full refund upon receipt of written notification up to one week (7 days) prior to the start of a class or workshop, minus a $20 handling fee. After the first meeting of class, students will receive a prorated refund, minus a $20 handling fee. After the second meeting of class, no refunds or letters of credit will be issued. Students who withdraw from a workshop less than 48 hours in advance of the start will not be refunded.
A full refund will be given if a class or workshop is canceled by the Art Center. No refunds will be issued for classes or workshops canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of God or any other event that renders the class or workshop impossible or in violation of government mandates. Refunds will be processed approximately 3-4 weeks from the date requested.

The Art Center will only be closed for the dates listed in the calendar. Classes canceled due to holidays, instructor absence, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances will be made up at the end of the semester. Students who miss class of their own accord will not receive a refund, letter of credit, or make-up opportunity.
Please visit artcenternj.org or call 908.273.9121 for closing announcements due to inclement weather. The announcements will be recorded by 7:30 AM and will also be on News12 New Jersey television.
