Open Studio

Open Studio is an opportunity for students to continue their practice in fully-equipped art studios. To participate in Open Studio, students will need to register for the specific day/time they are attending. This can be done in advance online or over the phone. Same-day registrations will be available only if capacity allows.

Winter 2026 Open Studios

To participate in Open Studios, students need to register for the specific day and time they are attending. This can be done in advance online or over the phone. Day-of registration will only be available if capacity allows, so students are highly encouraged to register in advance.

Open Studio registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable in the case of student absence.

Open studio is designed for students to work independently on their in-progress pieces from class and/or practice their skills. A monitor is present to take care of studio maintenance, and they can work on their own personal work. While they are happy to help you problem solve, students are expected to be comfortable working independently.

Open Jewelry: $25 per session

• Tuesdays, 3:30–6 PM, 1/13–3/10

Open Etching: $25 per session
NOTE: Open Etching is only available to students enrolled in Russ Spitkovsky’s Etching in Color and Black & White class

• Thursdays, 12:30–3 PM, 1/15–3/12

Open Ceramics: $25 per session
NOTE: Open Ceramics Studio is only available to students enrolled in a Winter 2026 ceramics class or workshop
