7693 Crochet Creations (ages 9–12)

Wednesdays, 6–7:30 PM
Discover the exciting world of crochet! This engaging and hands-on class introduces students to the endless possibilities of crochet, where imagination and creativity come to life through yarn and hooks. Students will transform simple yarn into beautiful, handmade treasures. No prior experience is necessary; just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to embark on a crafting adventure!

7730 The Basics of Sewing by Hand (ages 9–12)
Instructor: Heidi SanFilippo
Saturdays, 12:30–2 PM
In this class, students will learn a variety of hand-sewing techniques and will have the opportunity to complete fun projects including their very own squishy pillow representing an animal, food, or other favorite object. The instructor will teach sewing skills including straight stitch, backstitch, and running stitch. In addition to creating a squishy pillow, students will have the opportunity to create simple clothing or decorative items. Based on desired project, interests, and skill level, students will complete about 1–3 projects during the semester.
