7361/7362 Art Sampler (ages 5–7)

We feature various media such as drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture. Beginning artists explore different artistic expressions or strengthen existing foundations, allowing for experimentation and growth. Each session has a different method or combination, so repeat students are welcome.

7541 Art Fun–damentals! (ages 8–11)

Mondays, 4–5:30 PM
Study the elements of art and the creative process in this hands-on, multimedia class. Learn about art fundamentals such as line, shape, composition, and color. Students will explore a variety of materials including graphite, charcoal, pastel, paint, and more. New projects each session.

7365 A Mix of Mediums: Art Sampler (ages 5–7)

In this art sampler class, students will explore a variety of mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, collage, clay, drawing and much more while learning new artistic skills along the way!

7389 3D Designs (ages 9–12)

Tuesdays, 4–5:30 PM
Bring your imagination to life by creating three-dimensional art! Students will have the opportunity to use the following materials: clay, papier-mâché, plaster fabric, cardboard, wire, and more to create sculptures and functional items. Decorating techniques like painting, decoupage and more will be incorporated in projects.

7409 A Mix of Mediums: the Next Steps (ages 7–9)

Wednesdays, 4–5:30 PM
Take your skills to the next level in this expansion of the “A Mix of Many Mediums: Art Sampler” class. Referencing foundational elements of art like texture, form, space, and value, students will explore a multitude of mediums including paint, pastels, collage, clay, charcoal, and much more!

7546 Cardboard Creations (ages 7–9)

In this class, students will use some recycled materials such as corrugated cardboard, paper plates and cardboard tubes to create a variety of unique 2D and 3D art! Projects will include giant desserts, collage landscapes, castles, and more. New projects each session.

If you love to experiment, come create one-of-a-kind pieces from papier–mâché, paint, pastel, clay, and collage! Projects are different every semester. Please bring a smock or wear play clothes.
