Explore pen & ink as a drawing medium. Start with value and texture exercises and continue to simple drawings. Experiment with different pen & ink drawing tools brought by the instructor such as dip-quill pens and brush pens.

Warm up your watercolor painting skills in this one-day workshop! Students will learn how to create a composition, draw in perspective, make tonal variation, and more to depict a beautiful bright sunflower. Want to learn how to crochet but don’t know where to start? Get your feet wet with this step-by-step crocheting workshop, guiding you through basic crochet techniques (hook-holding technique, reading patterns and abbreviations, working in the round, increasing and decreasing stitches) and leaving with your very own whale amigurumi!

7881 NEW! Halloween Decor: Skeleton Creations
Instructor: Rich Catino
Are you a fan of Halloween and always wanted to make your own decorations, but didn’t know where to start? Students will learn how to fabricate a store-bought skeleton using a variety of materials like acrylic paint, glue, clothing from home, and more to bring their individualized creation to life. The instructor will work with each student to provide support on their ideas. The instructor can also provide demonstrations on specific creative details such as how to make your skeleton look like a realistic rotting corpse to spook your neighbors! Students need to bring their own 5-foot skeleton on the day of the workshop.
