The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey’s Studio School, located in Summit, NJ, offers classes and workshops for artists of all ages and skill levels. 8561 NEW! Introduction to Beaded Jewelry Making (ages 13-17)
Instructor: Jessica Garber
Learn to create fabulous beaded jewelry in a fun and creative environment!  Begin creating your very own wearable jewelry without the use of heat or machinery.  In this one-day workshop, students will create beaded memory wire bracelets and learn how to design, string, and secure beaded necklaces. Students will gain hands-on experience using different types of jewelry-making pliers & cutters commonly used for beaded jewelry making. Students will also learn how to attach jewelry findings & clasps to their necklaces, & dangle charms to their bracelets after finishing with wire loops for a professional & finished look.
