Adult Printmaking Classes

8857 Exploring Etching in Color and Black & White
Instructor: Russ Spitkovsky
Thursdays, 9:30 AM – 12 PM
Explore traditional and contemporary etching methods, including monotype and monoprinting. Experience this beautiful and versatile art form for yourself! Some materials provided. Additional supplies to be discussed during the first class. This class is taught by an instructor who is bilingual in Russian and English. 8874 The Art of the Monoprint & Beyond

Thursdays, 6:30 – 9 PM
In this class, students will learn a variety of printing techniques such as monotypes, monoprints, collagraphy, linocuts, and transfer methods. There will be an emphasis on process and experimentation. Some materials provided. Additional materials needed will be discussed on the first day of class.

8879 Introduction to Silkscreen
Instructor: Kristian Battell
Fridays, 9:30 AM – 12 PM
Learn everything you need to know about the process of silkscreen! In this class, the instructor will cover the whole method from start to finish, discuss supplies, and how to recreate the set up for yourself at home. Students will focus on creating works of art on paper, but textile printing will be covered as well. The class will start with demonstrations and students will have lots of time to create and explore the process. Some supplies provided. Additional supplies to purchase for this class is listed on the materials list.
