8100 NEW! Pop Art Donuts on Canvas (ages 6–11)
Instructor: Vanessa Lopez
Learn about pop art and artists like Andy Warhol in this fun one-day workshop! Students will be inspired by Andy Warhol’s colorful painting techniques and create their own pop art of donuts on a 16×20-inch canvas. They will also use other materials like beads, model magic, and more to decorate their donuts.

8103 NEW! Parent & Me: Bejeweled Pumpkin & Sunflowers (ages 6–11)
Instructor: Vanessa Lopez
Create your own dazzling bejeweled work of art in this one-day workshop. One parent/guardian and one child will both work on a 16×20-inch canvas to create a beautiful pumpkin and sunflower painting. After painting, they will glue buttons, beads, sequins, and more to jazz up their artwork. This workshop is designed for students who are 6–11 years old to take with ONE of their parents/guardians, where they can both enjoy the art-making process together. Tuition and materials fees cover one child AND one parent/guardian for registration.

8102 NEW! Sunday Funnies: Make Your Own Joke Comics (ages 8–10)
Instructor: Ashley McCammon
Students will learn how to write and draw their own 3-or 4-panel comics, inspired by manga-style gag comics and popular children’s comics like Dogman and Captain Underpants. The instructor will provide support with brainstorming ideas, breaking them down into a beginning/middle/end, and using dynamic movement, sound effects, and fun character design to deliver a punchline!

7963 Create Your Own 3D Haunted House (ages 6–11)

Calling all ghouls and ghosts! Come make your own 3D haunted house just in time for Halloween! First, paint a wooden bird house to look like an eerie house in the woods. Then use paint, model magic, glitter, and more to make spooky details for a unique haunted house that you can use as a special Halloween decoration for years.

7970 Create Your Own 3D Thanksgiving House (ages 6–11)

Create your own 3D Thanksgiving House complete with your own turkey, fall leaves, and a bountiful feast. Students will use model magic, wood, fake leaves, and more to create a unique centerpiece for the Thanksgiving holiday. This is a decorative piece that you can use for years to come!

7972 The Gift in Giving: in Clay! (ages 6–9)
Instructor: Denise Banaag
The holidays are just around the corner! In this two-hour kids’ workshop, students will make and decorate several gifts made out of clay that can be given as gifts. Students will learn some basic hand-building techniques in clay while creating 3–4 small functional pieces. Please note that the ceramics pieces will need to be fired in our kilns ,and the Art Center will notify students when to pick up their finished pieces.

8106 NEW! Create Your Own Winter Ornaments or Magnets! (ages 6–11)

It’s that time of year for winter crafting! Students will receive step-by-step instructions to create several winter-themed artworks that can be either strung to make an ornament or added to a magnet to create unique magnets for your fridge. They will also have access to a wide variety of art material,s like clay and popsicle sticks, to create their own style of magnets or ornaments. These are great keepsakes you can treasure for years!

8107 NEW! STEAM: Create Your Own Kaleidoscope and Catapult (ages 6–9)
Instructor: Heidi SanFilippo
Learn about some different subjects, such as science, technology, engineering, or math, while also incorporating art and using a variety of materials in this one-day workshop! Students will explore symmetry and light reflection by making their own kaleidoscope. Students will also create a simple catapult.

8110 Create Your Own 3D Wood Gingerbread House (ages 6–11)
Instructor: Vanessa Lopez
Transform a wooden birdhouse into a fabulous faux gingerbread house! Students will make wood and model magic candy pieces to embellish their houses and finish by frosting them with paint and glitter. This is a gingerbread house you can keep and display year after year!
