2026 Summer Art Camp for Teens (ages 13+)
Monday–Friday, 10 AM–3 PM
Teens ages 13+ will gain an in-depth studio art experience that engages their creativity and enhances their skills. Each week, teens will concentrate on two focus areas during their studio sessions. Small class size enables our talented teaching artists to take a deep dive with teens to build their techniques and individual styles.
NEW! FULL-DAY Ceramics—Clay All Day
June 15–19, 10 AM–3 PM
During this full-day camp, campers will explore a variety of clay materials and techniques. Campers will spend time making projects with stoneware clay as they learn hand-building skills and how to throw on the pottery wheel. Campers will also create projects using paper clay and polymer clay. A variety of decorating techniques will also be explored in this camp. Projects will include functional and sculptural pieces.
NEW! FULL-DAY Painting with Acrylic
June 15–19, 10 AM–3 PM
Spend the week focusing on this one versatile medium. Teens will spend both morning and afternoon sessions learning how to paint landscapes, portraits, and more with acrylics. Discover how to block in a composition and see it come to life with every brushstroke. Campers will learn the fundamentals of painting, including brushstroke techniques, creating light and shadow, and color mixing, while learning how to handle the materials properly.
NEW! Sculpture Week and Drawing Essentials
June 22–26, 10 AM–3 PM
New! Sculpture Week: Ready to take your 3D skills to the next level? Dive into real sculpting tools and techniques to build BOLD, dimensional art. Work with a mix of sculpting materials—from clay to paper to fabric and level up your craftsmanship. Finish the week with 3D pieces that show off your creative skills and personal style.
Drawing Essentials: This camp is perfect for campers looking to develop foundational drawing skills. Campers will use observational skills and gain familiarity with diverse media, such as graphite and charcoal, with drawing exercises that may include gesture drawings, blind contours, and contour drawings. Linear perspective, color theory, and building form with light and shadow will also be covered as campers render their artistic creations.
Tiny Week and Paper Art (4 days)
June 29–July 2, 10 AM–3 PM
Tiny Week: It’s a short week, so let’s go small! Campers will use multiple media to create unique sculptures and figures while exploring the art world at a miniature level. Have fun creating tiny art you can hold in your hand.
Paper Art: During this week, campers will make art using a variety of different kinds of paper. Campers will learn to fold paper, use pulp to paint, explore quilling techniques, collage with printed material, and build sculptures with paper. Campers will also learn how to use paint, fibers, and other materials to enhance their paper creations.
New! Cosplay Creations: Get Into Character and Oil Painting
July 6–10, 10 AM–3 PM
New! Cosplay Creations: Get into Character! Have a favorite character from anime, TV, or film that you want to dress as? Learn how to use painting, sculpture, and design techniques, along with everyday and specialty materials, to build your own cosplay accessories. From headware, masks, shields, or staves, choose how you want to bring your character to life!
Oil Painting: Painting can seem difficult, but it doesn’t have to be! Campers will learn the foundational skills of painting in oils. This camp will cover the basics, including blocking in a composition, color mixing, value studies, and proper handling of materials. Students should wear clothes that can get messy.

July 13–17, 10 AM–3 PM
Paper Art: During this week, campers will make art using a variety of different kinds of paper. Campers will learn to fold paper, use pulp to paint, explore quilling techniques, collage with printed material, and build sculptures with paper. Campers will learn also how to use paint, fibers, and other materials to enhance their paper creations.
Painting with Acrylics: Have fun exploring this versatile medium. Campers will learn how to block in a composition and see it come to life as they add paint to their canvas. They will learn the fundamentals of painting, including brush techniques, how to create light and shadow, and color mixing. Campers will also learn how to handle the materials properly. Campers should wear clothes that can get messy—acrylics don’t wash out of clothes!
New! The Art of Illustrative Storytelling and Jewelry Design
July 20–24, 10 AM–3 PM
The Art of Illustrative Storytelling: A picture is worth far more than a thousand words! Campers will learn how to communicate a story, tone, and feeling in their art without any written text using artistic techniques such as composition, limited color palettes, shape language, and color theory. This camp is perfect for teens who want to bring their ideas and characters to life through their artwork. Using a diverse array of media, including pencils, colored pencils, inks, and colored inks, students will craft characters and narrative illustrations that jump off the page and speak for themselves.
Jewelry Design: Make wearable art! Campers will experiment with jewelry-making techniques to create pendants and bracelets of their own original designs. After starting with a sketch, the instructor will help students use a variety of materials to create their vision. Projects may include, but are not limited to, wrapped wire pendants, polymer clay canes, and recycled paper beads.
Everything Clay and Comics, Cartoons & Anime
July 27–31, 10 AM–3 PM
Everything Clay: This camp is perfect for campers looking to explore various types of clay. During the week, we will use the pottery wheel to throw and embellish a functional ceramic piece that will be glazed and fired in the kiln. We will also learn the techniques for working with paper clay, from building an armature to give the clay structure and different ways to decorate their creations using paint, decoupage, or other materials. Finally, we will explore polymer clay by making everyday objects in miniature form.
Comics, Cartoons & Anime: Calling all comic, cartoon, and anime lovers! Campers will explore drawing popular characters and work on simple and effective techniques for creating their own character concepts. Master a unique style of creating cartoon, anime, and comic art.
Assemblage Sculpture and Essential Drawing & Painting
August 3–7, 10 AM–3 PM
Assemblage Sculpture: Campers will transform everyday items into expressive, personal sculptures! Imagine all the artistic possibilities in combining materials such as paper, plastic, clay, and wire with found objects. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, campers will learn various techniques to manipulate the materials and create one-of-a-kind sculptures.

New! Sketchbook Week and Collage, Mixed Media & Masks
August 10–14, 10 AM–3 PM
Sketchbook Week: This camp is perfect for campers looking to develop the foundational skills of drawing and painting. Campers will hone their observational skills and gain familiarity with diverse media, such as graphite, charcoal, and acrylics, and will also experiment with mixed-media creations! Campers will end the week with a sketchbook filled with dynamic gesture drawings, life drawings, blind contours, and contour drawings. Linear and atmospheric perspective, color theory, and building form with light and shadow will also be covered as campers render their artistic creations.
Collage, Mixed Media & Mask Making: Mixing it up is what collage and mixed media is all about! Campers will have the opportunity to use a variety of supplies such as paint, patterned paper, fabric, fibers, and more. During this camp week, campers will learn about shape, color, texture, and light, all while creating both representational and abstract works of art. Our featured project will be putting these skills to use, creating amazing papier-mâché masks!
New! Portrait Drawing and Revamped Fashion camp
August 17–21, 10 AM–3 PM
New! Portrait Drawing: Want to improve your people-drawing skills? This camp is for artists at any level who want to jump into the world of portraiture. We will learn to draw the head from every angle, identify the planes of the head, and capture the likeness of any subject. Possible projects include self-portraits and celebrity portraits. We may even dip our toes into the art of caricature and life drawing! Campers will be working in a variety of mediums, including graphite pencils, charcoal, and colored pencils.
Revamped Fashion Camp: Dive into the world of fashion, exploring inspiring designers, standout historical looks, and the creativity behind recycled design. Campers will have a chance to sketch fashion ideas as they make mood boards to help fine-tune their fashion vision. Campers are encouraged to bring in a piece of clothing or two that can be revamped and made into something expressing their unique style. Multiple sewing and embellishing techniques will be covered while we create wearable art! Perfect for budding designers who love color, texture, and imagination—this camp is where fashion truly comes to life!

Optional Extended Care
Our flexible extended care options make busy family schedules easier while also giving students more time to create and explore. Extended care is a welcoming space to start or end the camp day with free-choice art activities and games in a fun and relaxed environment. Flexible, affordable, and supervised by caring staff, these options are the perfect extension of the camp day. You can purchase single days or full-week care starting at 8 AM and ending at 5:30 PM. The following options are available:
$30 for early drop-off OR late pick-up per day
