2026 Summer Art Camp for Kids (ages 5–9)

Monday–Friday, 10 AM–3 PM
For 2026, we are debuting two new camp themes—Sock Hop and Around Town—as well as fresh projects in our classic camp themes. Each week, kids work on 2D and 3D art projects inspired by the weekly theme in art media that may include painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. Campers will be divided into limited-size groups based on age. If you have a friend or sibling of close age attending camp, and would like to have them grouped together, please request this during registration.

Summer Sampler
June 15–19, 10 AM–3 PM
Try it all! Our Summer Sampler includes art projects from this summer’s camp themes, plus a few projects inspired by classic summer pastimes. Projects will not be repeated later in the summer if your camper is lucky enough to join us for multiple weeks!

Appetite for Art
June 22–26, 10 AM–3 PM
Dig in! This week of camp will feature art projects inspired by delicious foods and snacks. Campers will learn several art techniques while cooking up projects like ceramic pizzas and colorful cupcake paintings.

Art Around America (4 days)
June 29–July 2, 10 AM–3 PM
Celebrate Independence Day through artwork inspired by American artists, Americana, and famous landmarks. During this patriotic week, we’ll make art projects such as watercolor paintings inspired by Alma Thomas, mixed media scarecrows, and coastal dioramas.

NEW! Sock Hop
July 6–10, 10 AM–3 PM
Step into the past with this ALL-NEW art camp theme, where the 1950s and 1960s come alive through creative projects! Campers will design retro-inspired projects such as a papier-mâché jukebox, a painting in Jackson Pollock’s style, and a drawing of a far-out 1960s hippie van.

Comics, Cartoons & Characters
July 13–17, 10 AM–3 PM
Delve into the world of cartoons, comics, and popular characters in everyone’s favorite camp! Create super fun art projects of familiar friends like a watercolor of Lowly Worm and his iconic apple car, a print of Olaf, and a clay Cookie Monster.

Animals & Wildlife Art
July 20–24, 10 AM–3 PM
This week of camp is like taking a trip to the zoo, but so much more creative! Explore the exciting world of animals and their amazing habitats. Kids will create projects such as a colorful hummingbird in watercolor, an octopus in pastel, and a papier-mâché bumblebee.

Mini Masters
July 27–31, 10 AM–3 PM
Kids become mini masters while experimenting with art media and techniques used by famous artists. While learning about art history, campers will expand their creative horizons by painting like Leonardo da Vinci, printing like Keith Haring, and creating sculptures inspired by Pablo Picasso.

Art Around the World
August 3–7, 10 AM–3 PM
Pack your bags! Kids will “travel” the world and learn how different cultures create art. Some of our projects will include making a traditional Polish cut-paper collage, creating a pastel toucan from South America, and painting your initials in a Celtic design.

NEW! Around Town
August 10–14, 10 AM–3 PM
Join us for an ALL-NEW week of art camp, where creative projects are sourced from the places and people we encounter every day around town. Students will create dioramas of the playground, drawings of lemonade stands, and illustrations of the library, among other fun and familiar projects.

Color Explosion
August 17–21, 10 AM–3 PM
This camp introduces kids to the bold pop-art movement and other ways in which vibrant colors can be used in artwork. Kids will create projects that play with the use of colors, such as vivid clay paintbrushes, op art drawings, and neon-colored collages.
