Artist’s Statement:
Embark on a captivating journey through imaginary landscapes and distant realms inspired by Marta Nowicka’s travels in Europe and the United States. This exhibition presents various artistic mediums, ranging from traditional printmaking techniques such as monotypes, collagraphs, and carborundum prints, to the innovative realm of mixed media digital artworks.

Each work in this exhibition was made between Nowicka’s relocation from Poland in 2019 to the present. Each artwork showcases her experiments with black and white and color compositions, and her play with shape, line, and texture. This exhibition particularly showcases Nowicka’s approach to abstract landscapes and her appreciation for natural beauty.

Artist’s Bio
Marta Nowicka, a Polish-born visual artist based in Summit, New Jersey, explores abstraction across various mediums. Her portfolio includes acrylic paintings, collagraph prints, monotypes, watercolor, and abstract digital work. Nowicka has exhibited across Europe and the United States, including at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society Gallery in Pawtucket, Rhode Island; South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, Massachusetts; and Galeria Officyna Art & Design in Warsaw, Poland. She has also exhibited at several art fairs including 14C in Jersey City, New Jersey, and The Other Art Fair in Dallas, Texas. Nowicka is a member of the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey and the Monotype Guild of New England.
