Artist’s Statement:
The passage of time leaves its mark on all living beings, shaping and transforming them in unique and beautiful ways. Blooms of Time explores this quiet elegance of aging through a series of photographs featuring flowers in various stages of life. Using the remarkable capabilities of an iPhone camera, Keni captures the grace and resilience of natural forms as they evolve, celebrating the profound beauty that emerges with time. Blooms of Time invites viewers on a journey of introspection and discovery, encouraging them to embrace the beauty of aging with grace and appreciation.

Artist’s Bio:
Manasi Shekhar Keni is an educator with a background in Typography and Visual Communication. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Typography and a Government Diploma in Applied Art. With a career spanning over two decades, Keni has dedicated herself to imparting her knowledge and experience to students in the creative field. She was an Assistant Professor at Rachana Sansad College of Applied Art & Craft in Mumbai from 2002 to 2023, and her research papers have been published in several esteemed journals. Currently residing in Metuchen, New Jersey, she teaches ‘Abstract Mobile Photography’ at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.
