Artist’s Statement:

Artist Lisa Bryn Cerny views her artwork as a means of healing. Her mixed media collages of trees, fairies, landscapes, and other enchanted scenes relate the magical and restorative power of nature. The colors, textures, and whimsical content of her artworks are meant to be therapeutic, instilling a sense of wonder and peace in all who view them. Though Cerny uses these collages as an outlet for her internal world and perspective, like nature itself, they are intended to be a space for all to get lost in..

Artist’s Bio
Lisa Bryn Cerny is an artist from Morristown, New Jersey who uses handmade papers, fabrics, trims, flowers, metals, stones, acrylic, and other materials to create three-dimensional collages. Cerny first began collaging in the 1990s, decorating cards for loved ones with magazine clippings. After facing challenges in her career as a nurse, her practice developed into the soulful, mixed-media artworks that she continues to make today.
