Artist’s Statement:
Beginning at the beloved Summit Station, many embark on their daily commute to the “City” — whether heading to downtown, midtown, or simply passing through. The work featured in From Here… to There… pays homage to this everyday ritual and the rhythms of urban movement. From the rush of subway trains, to the maze of street signs, to the grandeur of city architecture, our shared transit experiences weave together into the fabric of everyday life. More than just a reflection of the daily grind, this exhibition invites us to pause, appreciate, and find beauty in the simplicity of our journeys.

Artist’s Bio
Ling Zhong is an architect and artist with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture. Having lived in the bustling cityscapes of New York City and Shanghai, his artistic expression is influenced by his architectural background and global perspective. His diverse portfolio includes architectural renderings, brand and event illustrations, bespoke creations, and visual facilitation workshops. Zhong also enjoys teaching art through his unique storytelling approach, encouraging others to express their creativity. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and children.
