Cynthia Pareja Dubin (b. Lima, Perú, 1986) is an abstract artist who creates mixed-media paintings characterized by vibrant colors and dynamic form. She graduated from Universidad de Palermo (Buenos Aires, AR) with a baccalaureate in Graphic Design, and was awarded first prize in Editorial Design in 2011. Her work explores the interplay of the conscious and subconscious, individual and collective, and the fragility of nature. Recipient of the 2021 Liquitex “Just Imagine” residency, she held her first solo exhibition, “Intangible Ecosystems,” at Hotel Sofitel Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia (2023).

Pareja Dubin translates personal emotions and observations into abstract forms, creating imaginary worlds that resonate with the complexities of contemporary life. Driven by a deep desire to communicate through color and composition, she invites viewers to contemplate themes of appreciation for the natural world, fragility, gratitude, and loss. Her works are created in a diverse range of media, including acrylics, gouache, watercolors, pastels, photography, and digital design.
