7146 NEW! Mud Club (ages 9−12)

In this class, students will learn the basics of ceramics through hand-built and wheel-thrown projects. The instructor will cover the following subject matters in clay: coil, slab, pottery, sculpture, pinch pots, and more! Join this class to explore the endless possibilities of functional and sculptural pieces in this fun medium.

7175 Clay Critters (ages 5−7)

Tuesdays, 4−5:30 PM
Does your child like getting their hands dirty? Do they love animals? This is their class! Working with clay will strengthen your child's understanding of gravity, science, and nature—plus it is super fun! Different sculptural methods will be introduced as we recreate our favorite members of the animal kingdom—a wonderful way to have fun and learn about animal anatomy.

7176 Ceramics Fundamentals (ages 10−13)

Tuesdays, 4−6 PM
Create pieces by handbuilding, throwing, or a combination of both techniques. Students will be guided through a variety of methods to build, decorate, and glaze their ceramic projects. This class will provide an opportunity to explore, get messy, and have creative fun! Designed for any skill level, this class is a great introduction to ceramic fundamentals.

Wednesdays, 4−6 PM
Call it a clay day! Gain a solid foundation for wheel throwing, and learn handbuilding techniques such as slab, pinch, and sculpture. Glaze and texture ceramics in this inspiring atmosphere as well.

7213 Hooray for Clay! (ages 6−9)

Do you like to be creative and get messy? Then let's create with clay! Students will learn handbuilding techniques such as pinch-pots, coil, press-mold, and slabs to build fun projects. Projects will change each session, so repeat students are welcome.

7214 Introduction to Ceramics (ages 9−12)

In this class, students will explore basic wheel-throwing techniques such as centering, opening, pulling, and shaping clay to make bowls. While the emphasis of this class is using the pottery wheel, students will also create a variety of pieces using handbuilding techniques.

7251 Jump in the Mud (ages 10−15)

Saturdays, 10−12 PM
Specialize in ceramics! Play with mud while you learn to make wheel-thrown bowls, mugs, and more in this introductory pottery class. After you throw, trim, and glaze your work, take home pottery you will be proud of!
