AUDITING + TRANSFERS
The Art Center allows students to audit classes when arranged with the permission of the Director of the Studio School. No student should be in any classroom unless registered or by permission of the Director of the Studio School.
The Art Center will only be closed for the dates listed in the calendar. Classes canceled due to holidays, instructor absence, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances will be made up at the end of the semester. Please visit artcenternj.org or call 908.273.9121 for closing announcements due to inclement weather. The announcements will be recorded by 7:30 AM and will also be on the radio at 101.5 FM as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
JUNIOR (UNDER 18) STUDENTS

No student substitutions are allowed. Only students enrolled in a certain class can attend that class, unless they have the permission of the Director of the Studio School to audit that class.
The Art Center reserves the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate behavior.
The Art Center is not responsible for artwork and other property left on the premises and has no liability if such property is lost, stolen, or damaged, except in instances when artwork is displayed in a gallery exhibition and insurance coverage is in place. The Art Center does not have the space to store artwork between semesters. Any artwork left after the semester ends will be discarded. The Art Center is not responsible for any digital artwork or images left on the computers in the digital lab. You must back up your work on your flash drive every time you use the lab.
The Art Center will be open to the public at 8:45 AM Monday–Friday and 10 AM Saturday & Sunday. Students may enter classrooms no earlier than 9:15 AM Monday–Friday and 10 AM Saturday & Sunday. Students enrolled in evening and weekend classes are expected to leave immediately after class. Animals, with the exception of service animals, are prohibited from entering the Art Center.

If you do not wish yourself or your child to be photographed, please notify the Art Center in writing at the beginning of the semester.
Recording of class sessions is not permitted, except with advance permission from the Director of Studio School, and written consent from student(s) and instructor(s).
