Kid Online Classes

The class materials fees covers a specially curated art supply kit which will be available for pickup at the Art Center the week prior to the start of class. At the end of the classes, the kits are yours to keep for continued artmaking!

4606 Art Sampler (ages 5–7)
Instructor: Katie Truk
Mondays, 3:30–5 PM
We feature various media such as drawing, buy cialis discount painting, ceramics, and sculpture. Beginning artists try different artistic expressions or strengthen existing foundations, allowing for experimentation and growth. 4607 Drawn to Drawing: The Young Artist’s Sketchbook (ages 7–10)
Instructor: Katie Truk
Mondays, 6–7 PM
Does your child draw all the time? Like a sport, drawing is a skill that improves with practice. This class will build upon basic drawing skills, such as contour lines and shading, to give students confidence in their abilities. In addition a sketchbook will be part of the supplies given to students for additional, although not mandatory, practice at home (fun and creativity are always the main priority!) to help reinforce lessons and develop skills learned in class.

4608 From Drawing to Painting (ages 7–10)
Instructor: Katie Truk
Mondays, 7:30–8:30 PM
Painting and drawing are intertwined in the creative practice; one skill builds upon the other. Over alternating weeks of drawing then painting, learn techniques like shading, creating values, and more in both pencil and watercolor. This sequential class will emphasize color, control, and fun!
