4750 Working with Mixed Media

Tuesdays, 6:30–9 PM
Mixed media art blends so many art forms–painting, printmaking, paper, fibers, colored pencils–to name a few. The sky’s the limit! Class will work on representational and abstract artworks that combine uk propecia two or more mediums, working on wood panels and mat board. Incorporate designs from stamps made from foam and erasers, handcut stencils, along with brush painting. Some materials provided.

4682 Mixed Media Collage Intensive

Wednesdays, 9:30 AM–12 PM
Use all your artistic abilities and skills to create an 18×18-inch mixed media collage while learning about color, design, pattern, drawing, watercolor and more. Topics will include: creating a template; basic drawing, watercolor and collage techniques; creating and deconstructing patterns; asymmetrical balance; extending the color palette; proper gluing and varnishing. 4702 NEW! Mosaic Terra Cotta Planters

Wednesdays, 6:30–9 PM
Come break some China and transform a terra cotta pot into a one-of-a-kind mosaic planter to welcome the Spring! Learn how to methodically break and place China pieces, a technique known as Picassiette, to create a mosaic design. Glass and ceramic tiles, glass buy levitra without beads, stone, tesserae and other objects will be available to add to your design. Students are encouraged to bring in any objects (old China, toys, shells, etc.) they would like to incorporate into their work. All tools, adhesives and additional materials are provided.
