5734 NEW! Winter Landscapes in Watercolor (ages 14–17)
Instructor: Mark de Mos
Students will have the chance to paint colorful snow scenes by starting with a quick introduction to concepts of painting snow. They will learn how snow reflects the colors around it in the shadows, and how its highlights reflect the light source. This workshop will cover the basics of creating snow scenes from your own reference photos (photos can be snow free and the instructor will demonstrate how to add snow to the scene). Additionally, the instructor will provide a demonstration on using gouache to create the effect of falling snow using a toothbrush.
Sunday, 1/15, 10 AM–2 PM
Tuition: $90, Materials Fee: $20
