Tuesdays, 12:30–3 PM
Create your own timeless charms and beads to add to your existing jewelry chains or let them stand out on their own as a new focal piece. In this 5-week class, students will learn how to design, transfer images, and cut out their own unique jewelry charms. Also, students will be shown different kinds of patterns and textures they can use. The instructor will provide step-by-step demonstrations on texturing, cutting, shaping, and soldering hollow form beads to be worn as pendants, earrings, or charms. Some materials provided.

6438 The Magic of Metal Clay
Instructor: Kelly Green Grady
Wednesdays, 6:30–9 PM
Metal clay is a unique material that consists of particles of metal suspended in an organic binder. It can be formed like clay, but when fired yields a solid metal object. Students will be introduced to working with Art Clay Silver; a silver-based metal clay. Learn how to model, texture, and set stones in Art Clay Silver that will be fired to create beautiful finished pieces of jewelry. No jewelry experience necessary! Some materials provided. Additional materials to be discussed during the first class.
