Come explore contemporary bookbinding, creating multiple book structures for highly personalized soft and hardcover books—ideal for journals, sketchbooks, and artist books. Every artist will leave levitra fast delivery with beautiful handmade books, and all the knowledge of the tools, materials, and tricks of the book binding trade needed to explore binding in their own work. Beginners are welcome and encouraged! All bookbinding materials and tools are included. Artists should bring recycled prints, decorative and/or handmade papers, photographs, and printed ephemera to include in their bindings as well as one yard of lightweight fabric.

Instructor: Sue Sachs
Explore a new way to add mail online order propecia color and depth to your jewelry designs. Learn how to add color and texture to brass or copper using Prismacolor pencils; a faster and more predictable way to add color than enameling. Students will make simple jewelry pieces using roller printed metals to add texture, then layer and set colors with the Prismacolor pencils to give their pieces a vibrant, new look.

4809 Focused on the Figure: Life Drawing Intensive
Instructor: Joel Tidey
Take advantage of this opportunity to dive into a whole day of figure drawing to build your confidence and skill in expressing the figure. We will cover the fundamentals of representing the human form such as anatomical information, blocking in, linear and tonal applications, and learning to “see” more simply. Instructor: Emma Tabachnick
Underglaze decals are a fantastic and fun way to add a graphic element to your ceramic work. Learn how to apply image and pattern decals to bisque-ware. Experiment with color, pattern, and layering to create unique and original pieces. Combining decals with underglazes will also be explored. Students are recommended to bring 6–8 pre-bisqued pieces to decorate. All decals, underglazes, glazes and glaze firing will be provided.

4810 Silver Metal Clay Jewelry from Molded Keepsakes
Instructor: Kelly Green Grady
Join us as we create metal clay jewelry from cherished family keepsakes. Bring your antique buttons, baby spoons, etc. to make silicone molds for producing gorgeous fine silver jewelry with PMC3 silver clay. Molded items will be torch fired, polished, and patinaed to create unique, wearable pieces of jewelry. Basic molding supplies, findings, and one 15oz pack of PMC3 silver clay will be provided. Additional materials will be available to purchase if desired, depending on the size of the piece to be molded.

4812 Let it Snow! Winter Watercolor Snow Scene
Instructor: Mark de Mos
Discover how to paint snow scenes that highlight the unique color variations of a winter landscape, including blue, yellow, and pink! Bring your own reference images (with or without snow) and use these to create dramatic snow scenes bathed in light. Class starts with a demonstration and a short introduction on different watercolor techniques and possibilities, such as low light, falling show, using salt, and the value of shadows in creating dynamic watercolors.
