GALLERY EDUCATION TOURS
Make the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey a part of your school year! The Art Center offers gallery education tours for students of any age that make learning about contemporary art fun and exciting. Each tour includes a 30-minute docent led tour of our current exhibition where participants are encouraged to view, learn, and share their ideas about the art on view. Following the tour is an hour-long hands-on art workshop taught by a teaching artist that relates to the themes in the exhibition. Art projects include a variety of media such as paint, pastels, collage, found objects, or watercolors, depending on the current exhibition. All tours address National Core Arts Standards.
Fee: $175 for a group of up to 15 students, $8 for each additional student

AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Created in partnership with several schools in the area, VACNJ sends our teaching artists out to lead various after school enrichment programs. The program content ranges from the fundamentals of drawing and painting, comic book making, or an art-making with art history program that focuses on an understanding of art history and contemporary art.
Each enrichment program can be custom built to meet the interests of the students and the school. The program can run once a week from 6–12 weeks.
To book a tour or for more information contact Sarah Walko, Director of Education and Community Engagement at firstname.lastname@example.org or 908.273.9121, ext. 213.
