SUMMARY:Winter 2026 Pre-Registration
DESCRIPTION:Winter 2026 Pre-Registration\nPre-registration for our Winter 2026 semester begins on Monday\, October 27. \n\nPre-registration is available only to current Art Center students and members. This gives priority to our community members before registration opens to the public.\nWe will offer an early-bird discount of $5 off each class (workshops do not qualify for a discount).\nPre-registration will be available in-person or over the phone only.\nPre-registration will open on a staggered schedule to spread out the pre-registration process across the week.\n\nOn Monday\, 10/27\, pre-registration opens for classes that meet on Mondays.\nOn Tuesday\, 10/28\, in addition to the Monday classes already available\, Tuesday classes open for pre-registration.\nOn Wednesday\, 10/29\, in addition to the classes already available\, Wednesday classes open for pre-registration.\nOn Thursday\, 10/30\, in addition to the classes already available\, Thursday classes open for pre-registration.\nOn Friday\, 10/31\, in addition to the classes already available\, Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday classes and workshops open for pre-registration.\n\n\nIf you are planning to pre-register for multiple classes that meet on different days of the week\, you have two options:\n\nYou can pre-register for each class separately on the first day the pre-registration opens for each. For example\, you can pre-register for a Monday class on 10/27\, and you can pre-register for a Wednesday class on 10/29.\nOr\, you can pre-register for both classes on the day that the latest class opens. For example\, if you want to enroll in a Monday and a Wednesday class\, you can pre-register for both on 10/29. You have the option of doing one enrollment for both classes on the latest date.\nIf you choose to pre-register over the phone\, you will be prompted to leave a message. By leaving a message\, you will be entering a queue for phone enrollment. Messages will be returned within one hour\, in the order they are received. SUMMARY:Transcendental Meditation Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, October 29\, at 7 PM as the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey hosts an introductory talk on Transcendental Meditation (TM)—a simple\, natural\, and effortless technique for inner peace and wellness. \nThis presentation will explore the many benefits of TM\, including improved brain function and creativity\, better sleep\, reduced anxiety and stress\, and a lower risk of heart attack and stroke—all supported by more than 380 peer-reviewed scientific studies. \nAttendees will learn how TM works\, how it differs from other forms of meditation\, and how just 15–20 minutes twice a day can lead to lasting relaxation and clarity. The talk will include short videos showcasing how TM has positively impacted students\, healthcare workers\, first responders\, and veterans. \nThe evening will conclude with a Q&A session with local Summit TM teachers. \nThis event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
