DESCRIPTION:The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a defining moment each year when Americans across the country step up to make our communities more equitable and take action to build the Beloved Community of Dr. King’s dream. The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey has been in a partnership with the New Jersey Veterans Affairs since 2019\, running a year-round program offering creative arts therapy to formerly unhoused veterans now living in transitional housing. On January 17 we invite you to join us in making thank you for your service cards for the veterans. After the event\, we will mail the cards to the Veterans Haven homes in north and south New Jersey. \n  \nClick here to register for this hybrid in-person and virtual event.
