At the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, we strive to create experiential learning experiences for all our visitors as part of our mission of bringing art and people together. During our popular Art Afternoons, all ages are invited to gain a better understanding of contemporary art. These Sunday art events vary with each exhibition, giving guests the opportunity to speak with the exhibiting artists and learn more about the meaning and process behind their art or to participate in hands-on projects that relate to the art on view in theme, medium or style.
