At the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, educational programming is integral to our mission of bringing people and art together. We offer programs to people of all ages through docent-lead gallery tours, hands-on art projects taught by certified art instructors, professional development courses, the annual Teachers’ Symposium, and dynamic lecture series featuring topics from art criticism to theatre to architecture, and year-round exhibition related programs. A hallmark of the Art Center are our Programs for Special Audiences that create access to visual arts experiences for the underserved, disabled, and elderly.
