Make the  Visual Arts Center of New Jersey a part of your school year. The Art Center offers Gallery Education Tours for students that make learning about contemporary art fun and exciting. Each tour includes a 30-minute docent led tour of our current exhibition where participants are encouraged to view, learn and share their ideas about the art on view. Following the tour is an hour-long hands-on art workshop taught by a Studio School Instructor that relates to the themes in the exhibition. Art projects include a variety of media such as paint, pastels, found objects or watercolors, depending on the current exhibition. All tours address National Core Arts Standards.
