The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey’s community engagement programs are closely aligned with our vision of creating an inclusive and welcoming community where lives are transformed and enriched through the shared experience of art. These programs make educational visual arts experiences available to under-served, economically disadvantaged, and marginalized audiences. We serve the community of Summit and surrounding areas, including Hudson, Union, Essex, Sussex and Somerset Counties. Our programs galleries rotate exhibitions of all of the above programs, highlighting the work of each diverse group.
