GALLERY TALK BY FROHAWK TWO FEATHERS
Sunday, April 28, 2 pm – 4 pm
This event is free and open to all ages
Join the artist in the Main Gallery for a narrative walk-through of his exhibition and hear stories from the world he has created. Frohawk Two Feathers is a Los Angeles-based artist known for his inventive and complex narratives that reimagine 18th century history. This exhibition,
You Can Fall: The War of the Mourning Arrows (An Introduction to the Americas and Requiem for Willem Ferdinand)
continues his ongoing narrative of the Fifty Years War—a global conflict between Holland and the imaginary empire of Frengland. This latest installment, the War of the Mourning Arrows, takes place in the area that is today New York and New Jersey. The artist introduces figures drawn from the Lenape/Delaware and Iroquois tribes, adding to his previously established cast of characters.
