Each semester we offer new classes and workshops geared to the teen student’s interests and abilities.
Winter Semester
begins January 9
Early Registration Discount
: Register by November 27 to receive a $5 DISCOUNT on class tuition.
On-Time Registration
: November 28 - January 1
Late Registration
: Beginning January 2 a $10 LATE FEE will be applied to class tuition.

This is the perfect class for teen students who want to learn about digital photography and SLR camera systems. In this fun and experimental class, students will learn how to compose beautiful pictures and express ideas through photographic imagery. Topics will include basic camera operation: shutter, aperture, focal length, white balance and metering. Students will also learn to make basic adjustments using Adobe Photoshop® CS4 & 5. Creative shooting assignments/projects will be given. Students should bring their own digital camera, a tripod if possible, and the camera manual to the first class.

Teen artists wishing to expand a portfolio using digital art, traditional art, and a combination of the two will enjoy this class designed especially for them. In Photoshop® CS4 & 5 we will explore using brushes, selections, blending, resolution and compositing in depth. We will also learn how to properly capture images using scanners, digital cameras and the web. Finally, we will learn how to professionally print archival inkjet prints. Skill sets learned here will further any student wishing to move into professional arts and design. This course is open to all levels of Photoshop® experience and is perfect for teens.
