Spring Semester begins April 9.
Early Registration Discount: Register by February 26 to receive a $5 DISCOUNT on class tuition.
On-Time Registration: February 27 - April1
Late Registration: Beginning April 2 a $10 LATE FEE will be applied to class tuition.

Graffiti is an under-appreciated form of art. With its bold use of color and design, graffiti has a lot to teach aspiring artists. In this class, students will learn lettering techniques, light and shadow concepts, and other painting methods. Working with paint markers and pencil first, students will build up to a graffiti-style painting on canvas. All materials included.

This is the perfect class for teen students who want to learn about digital photography and SLR camera systems. In this fun and experimental class, students will learn how to compose beautiful pictures and express ideas through photographic imagery. Topics will include basic camera operation: shutter, aperture, focal length, white balance and metering. Students will also learn to make basic adjustments using Adobe Photoshop® CS4 & 5. Creative shooting assignments/projects will be given. Students should bring their own digital camera, a tripod if possible, and the camera manual to the first class.

This course focuses on the fundamentals of drawing and painting through direct observation of still life objects, landscapes and the human figure. Light and shadow, value and shading, and methods to create representational three-dimensional spaces are investigated in a variety of materials and techniques. Group and individual critiques and demonstrations reinforce concepts. Personal attention is given to each student to encourage individual understanding and progress.
