Art Camp (ages 11–12)
The Kids’ Art Camp fosters knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts through hands-on activities Students will explore a variety of mediums, including: such as drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, and three-dimensional work under the guidance of our highly qualified instructors. Since projects vary each week (even if the theme is the same) kids may register for as many weeks of camp as they wish. Each week classes conclude with an exhibition for parents/caregivers to view their child’s artistic creations.

Become a mini art master! Be inspired by Rembrandt, Seurat, Picasso and other old and new masters as you create and experiment with various mediums. Students will create art projects based upon well-known art styles such as Realism, Pointillism and Cubism, to name a few. Unleash the art master within and have fun while you create and learn.

Snow covered hills, desert canyons, and mountainous peeks will all be part of the eco-friendly and eco-FUN projects as students explore the many different and exciting uses for reusable materials in the art-making process. Keeping nature, animals, and different environments in mind, students will have a chance to learn, explore, and CREATE!

What if dinosaurs visited the Met in New York City? What if people were actually the size of ants? What does the world look like in your imagination? This exciting theme will keep students thinking and imagining long after camp comes to an end.
